Romeo and Juliet summary

• CHAPTER 1: The Montagues and the Capulets:

The story began in the city of Verona, between two families the Montagues and the Capulets because they hated each other. The servants of Montague house started a fight but after appeared Benvolio, a Montague, and tried to make peace. Then arrived Tyablat, a Capulet, and he started a fight with Benvolio. More and more people came to the fight until the Prince of Verona arrived and he stopped the fight because he threatened the two families. Lord Capulet decided to have a party and he invited all the people in Verona excepted the Montagues. Lord and Lady Capulet wanted their daughter to marry Paris and they will met at the party. Romeo discovered that Rosaline, the girl that Romeo loves, will be at the party and he decided to go.

• CHAPTER 2: The Garden of the Capulets:

Romeo and Mercutio went to the Capulets party to met Rosaline. Tybalt recognised the Montagues and he wanted to fight but the Lord Capulet stopped him because they were in a celebration, but Tyblat abandoned the party and he said that Romeo will pay it the day after the party. During this moment Romeo fell in love went he saw Juliet and he forgot Rosaline, then he approached to Juliet and they kissed. After, they realized that they families were enemies. After the party Romeo went to Capulets garden, under Juliet’s balcony and listened that Juliet began to speak to the night. After this Romeo and Juliet talked together and they decided to get married secretly.

• CHAPTER 3: The Prince of Cats:

Romeo went to saw Friar Laurence because he wants to get married with Juliet. Romeo and his friends were walking in Verona streets and then they found the Nurse. She said to Romeo to take care of Juliet and then said that Friar Laurence married them at the afternoon. Romeo and Juliet went secretly to the cell and they married. Meanwhile Benvolio and Mercutio were walking and they found Tybalt and he started a fight with Mercutio, then arrived Romeo and he wants to stop the fight but at that moment Tybalt killed Mercutio.
